Social workers help people solve and cope with problems in their everyday lives. Clinical social workers also diagnose and treat mental, behavioral, and emotional issues. Field education is the most significant
component of the social work curriculum in preparing competent, effective, and ethical social workers. Providence Family Life Center was founded by a social worker in 2008. As a service to the profession, we are committed to providing future social workers excellent field experiences and opportunities to put "boots on the ground," working directly with individuals, families, and the community at micro, mezzo, and macro levels.
