Providence Family Life Center Corporation is a non-profit organization that was founded in Macomb Michigan in 2008. The organization was established as a community outreach program by a Social Worker who was concerned with restoring dignity and respect to individuals who have experienced adverse life experiences. Providence has served over 20,000 meals in the community to the homeless and hopeless, clothed more than 5,500 individuals and their families, and facilitated more than 5,000 hours of support groups, tutoring, and mentoring.
These values have stood at the center of the Providence Family Life Center mission since our founding in 2008. We wholeheartedly commit to the work we do with passion and dedication, and inviting others to take part. On top of this, we challenge ourselves to think creatively, applying an innovative approach to all that we do. This mission drives the continued success of Providence Family Life Center.
Our Story
Today, Providence Family Life Center continues this work in Southwest, Florida, focusing on those who have been impacted by disasters. Providence is also concerned with youth and adults living with undiagnosed mental illness, co-occurring substance dependence and disabilities, veterans, children with learning and developmental disabilities, and the elderly. Providence Family Life Center is a 501 (c) (3) Tax Exempt Organization.
